Hiccup the Non-Magical Dragon does not live by the sea
But he is very special and has a unique talent that no other non-magical dragons have
Hiccup discovered this talent by accident at a young age after eating a bowl of cereal with milk
After feeling super full, Hiccup started to hiccup and a little bubble came out of his little mouth
You see, Hiccup’s biggest dream was to be a super scary non-magical dragon and bring terror to all the other animals *RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
But sadly, the dream was crush after that bowl of delicious cereal with milk
Since then, Hiccup discovered that if he started eating cereal with a little bit of soap, his bubbles would get bigger and bigger
One time, the bubble got so big it engulfed him and Hiccup ended up living in his own bubble for days! (This was an AH-HA moment for him)
The truth is, Hiccup still scares all the other animals! He traps them in his gigantic bubbles!!! MUAHAHAHahahahahhahaha

I love knitted toys! I made my brother an elephant for Christmas because it is his school mascot. toys are so fun and they go so quickly. I’m quite smitten with this little dragon, he is precious!
I totally agree with you!! I love smaller projects because they are faster to make and it’s so satisfying when it’s all done! Are you still knitting toys? :)
Whenever I can!
Adorable!
Thank you again!! :)
I love the bright personalities you give your knitted creations! Meeting them when they’re born and introduced to the world is a small comfort in my dark little world :)
I feel so honoured!!! Hopefully I can continue to brighten up your world and bring a smile to your face :) :)
Aw, what an adorable little guy! I loved your story, too. Bubbles are much better than scary dragon flames anyway. :D

Thank you for the award!!!!!!!!!! I clicked on the link but the post wasn’t there :(
I don’t know why, but I’ve refreshed and it should be there now :)
I love your work … have added your blog to my google reader – not sure if that shows up in your stats or not!
Thank you!!!! I love using Google Reader as well!!! Sometimes the links suddenly stop working and I don’t get the updates, does that ever happen to you? It’s so strange.
Fantastic. He is so cute peeking out of the plant.
awww Thank you!!!! Hiccup loves to hide behind plants and before you know it, he’ll attack you with his bubbles!
Another darling little critter! I love the color…seems perfect for Hiccup!
Thank you!!! I’m looking at the toys I’ve knitted and noticed that Hiccup sticks out from the crowd! I should repurchase that blue colour and just knit more toys with that colour =p
Very cute! I have a definite soft spot for dragons.:-)
hahahaha I guess I can use Hiccup to bribe you one day =p *evil laughter*
Super fun and I love the picture of him flying through the clouds. Very creative!
Thank you!! I have to thank my friend Belinda, who photoshopped those clouds in the picture :)
I envy the recipient of that lovely dragon!
Hahaha I had a couple of friends who were interested in Hiccup but It’s too hard to part with my toys =p
Is there a pattern available? I keep seeing this but with no pattern link. I would really like to make this for a friend’s new baby. I like how he could fit into a mermaid theme.
Hi Cyndi,
I’m sorry for this extremely LONG response! The pattern is from the book, More KnitWits by Katie Boyette and in the book, the wings are made out of felt I believe. Good luck!
sooo adorably cute.. are you selling these?
Thank you for your response and interest in this cute dragon! Unfortunately I just knit for fun and I am not selling these :(
