From Wikipedia: “Yarn bombing, yarnbombing, yarnstorming, guerrilla knitting, urban knitting or graffiti knitting is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fibre rather than paint or chalk.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yarn_bombing)

This is CRAZY cool! I recently discovered this type of art on Pinterest. A picture is worth a thousand words; therefore, enjoy these inspirational photos from http://www.streetartutopia.com http://pinterest.com/source/knitthecity.com/ & Pinterest.

Here is a glimpse into what my living room looks like! Okay, i`m joking, but I`m loving the couch pattern and the colours! I super duper enjoyed knitting this couch, TV, and rug! Take some time and knit something cool for yourself as well!

Couch and TV: Knitting MOCHIMOCHI by Anna Hrachovec

I love the game Plants Versus Zombies!!! So if that sunflower looks familiar, it was definitely based on the game. I will try to write out the pattern for this on another post!

Happy very very belated Easter!!!

Chicken pattern can be found in Teeny-Tiny MOCHIMOCHI by Anna Hrachovec

Chickens and a bunny are chilling out

Having lots of laughs and giggles no doubt!

While waiting for their favourite TV show
They counted the colour blocks really really slow

One chick realized that the TV was not plugged
They didn`t know what to do and all of them just shrugged

The bunny didn`t want to say this but he had to
“Everything is knitted even you, you, and you!“

Back in March, I posted some hints on my upcoming project:

Hints: I am super pretty, come in many colours but I am only around during certain times of the year. I can grow up to be very tall and I am great for every occasion

Answer: Tulips! Although the hints could be valid for most flowers :)

The pattern for these tulips can be found in the book, 100 Flowers to Knit & Crochet by Lesley Stanfield
