From Wikipedia: “Yarn bombing, yarnbombing, yarnstorming, guerrilla knitting, urban knitting or graffiti knitting is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fibre rather than paint or chalk.” (

  2. We were in Hunstanton in Norfolk, UK and there was some kind of yarn bombing thing going on there to celebrate the jubilee. It was so funny because it’s a kind of retirement place, and so I think rather than groovy hipsters doing it, it was the granny brigade! I love that!
