These peels remind me of the game Mario Cart!

How to make your own:

Skins (make 3)
With yellow, cast on 6 sts
Row 1: P
Row 2: K1, kfb, k to last st, kfb, k1 (8 sts)
Row 3: P
Row 4: K1, kfb, k to last st, kfb, k1 (10 sts)
Row 5: P

Beg with k row, work St st for 18 rows

Next: K1, k2tog, K to last sts, k2tog tbl, k1 (8 sts)
Next: P
Next: K1, k2tog, K to last sts, k2tog tbl, k1 (6 sts)
Next: P
Next: K1, (k2tog) twice, k1 (4 sts)
Cut yarn and thread through sts

Skin linings (make 3)

With cream, cast on 4 sts
Row 1: P
Row 2: K1, kfb, kfb, k1 (6 sts)
Row 3: P
Row 4: K1, kfb, k to last st, kfb, k1 (8 sts)
Row 5: P

Beg with k row, work St st for 16 rows

Next: K1, k2tog, K to last sts, k2tog tbl, k1 (6 sts)
Next: P
Next: K1, k2tog, k2tog tbl, k1 (4 sts)
Next: P
Next: K2tog, k2tog tbl (2 sts)

Cut yarn and thread through sts


Banana 
stem
With brown, cast on 3 sts on double-pointed needles

Using the I-cord method, knit the stem to your desired length and thread through sts


Assembling:

Stitch together the wrong side skin with the wrong side skin lining. Join the three peels together leaving a hole for the stem.
